We're building the company control plane. Starting with revenue.
One conviction: a company should steer on numbers it can defend. Here's who we are, what we believe, and exactly where our limits sit.
Companies run on numbers nobody can defend.
Ask one company for its ARR.
So we build the control plane: one engine every team and every AI reads, where every number is computed exactly and arrives with its receipts.
Five commitments. Built into the product.
Every figure comes from a fixed calculation you can trace. Beacon's AI never invents a number.
Published and open — one ARR, one forecast, the same for every team.
Every source connects in its own login screen. Writes wait for a person's yes.
A missing source stops the module, or names exactly what it can't say. No plausible numbers.
Targets, plans and approvals are sealed, append-only. You show the record, not a recollection.
Not policies. Product. Each one is enforced in how Beacon is built — see Security & boundaries for the full list.
Built by the person who needed it.
Niko has spent 20 years as a CFO for startups and growth companies internationally — building the reporting, the forecasts and the board decks, and standing behind the numbers in the rooms where they get challenged.
In 2020 he founded Calqulate, a financial-analytics platform for startups backed by Maki.vc, which automated the metrics finance teams were assembling by hand — CAC, LTV, MRR. Beacon is the next step of that work: not just seeing the numbers, but steering the whole company on them.
He still takes the strategy calls himself.
Our open curriculum on revenue intelligence — how leaders see, predict and steer revenue as it becomes a system. A 14-course path. Free, ungated, no pitch.
We started under $100M ARR. On purpose.
The biggest wins in automation are in SMB and mid-market — companies that can't spend a year and a seven-figure budget on a data team and a custom build. Enterprises can; it rarely works as planned. So Beacon starts where it changes the most: recurring-revenue businesses under $100M ARR today, with the ceiling moving into the $100–500M range as we grow. If you're past it, we say so before you sign — we'd rather lose a deal than your trust.
