Capital scenarios Wave 2

How much, when, and what it costs you.

Your capital need falls out of the plan you already committed to. Beacon sizes the round, dates it, prices it against your own sealed metrics, and shows you the ownership it costs before you commit to anything.

This page arrives with the capital system. The round board is already designed — pick a round and the forward revenue path, the outcome tiles and the ownership split all move together. Here's what it will carry.

Sizing and terms

The whole decision, as outputs.

01

The capital need

What the committed plan consumes, what the revenue it creates returns, and the month cash runs short. Quarters ahead, while the options are open.

02

Size and timing

Push growth with more, hold runway with less, or take nothing. Each compared against what your company has actually achieved.

03

Valuation, grounded

Priced off your sealed metrics and their published definitions. Arithmetic you can defend in the room, not an invented multiple.

04

What it costs you

The ownership each round size gives away, shown as it happens. You watch the slice leave before you decide it's worth it.

05

Round cashflows

What lands, when, and what it buys. The months of runway added and the hires it funds, on the same cash path you already read.

06

Commit and seal

Choose one, seal it, and the whole company runs on that target. The round becomes part of the plan, not a document beside it.

What this is, and isn't

Cash and ownership. Not a cap table.

Beacon models the money and the headline ownership: how much comes in, when, what it funds, and what percentage of the company it costs. That is the decision a founder actually makes, and it is the part your plan can answer.

It does not model instruments. Convertibles, liquidation preference and the option-pool shuffle live with your counsel and your cap-table tooling, and Beacon says so rather than pretending otherwise.

Where it connects

The need comes from the same cash path as cash, burn and runway. The target you seal is the one set your targets commands. And once the round closes, its conversion into revenue is tracked forward as a lifecycle.

Ready when you are

Know the round before it's urgent.

Capital scenarios arrive with the capital system. Until then, start free and watch the plan settle on your own numbers, or book a call and we'll walk the round board with you.
