Pricing

One meter. Two plans. Readers never pay.

One number sets your price: your recurring revenue, measured from the billing you connect — the same figure Beacon reports to you. No per-seat pricing, no usage meters. When you grow, your price follows — and not before.

Founding members

The first 25 paid subscriptions get about 40% off, locked for two years — Growth from $300/mo. Founding members carry the badge and co-adopt the open metric standard as it's published.

Build vs buy

Cheaper than building it. Faster than buying the pieces.

The meter

Your price follows your growth — that's the whole model.

Beacon measures your recurring revenue from your own connected billing — the same figure it reports to you every day — and your price moves along the curve on this page. If we do our job, you grow, and only then do we earn more. We share that risk on purpose.

Why Beacon

Modern FP&A stops at the model. Beacon runs the company on it.

Planning platforms forecast in a silo and hand you a chart. Beacon is the layer where the plan meets execution, capital and your investors — that's what the one price buys.

Strategy that reaches execution

Set targets once; the command system carries them into every team's tools and checks reality against them daily. Planning tools stop at the model — Beacon closes the loop. The command system →

The capital loop, closed

Valuations, standing data rooms, investor matchmaking: the round runs on the same numbers you steer by, not a deck assembled in a panic. Included, never a paywall between you and your investors. Ships a later wave. Capital & funding →

Readers, not licenses

Board, investors, advisors and every team read live from the same foundation — free, unlimited, each in their own view. FP&A tools export decks; Beacon gets read. Board reporting →

What this replaces

Priced under the budget line it retires.

Companies our size pay $25k–$100k+ a year for the estate Beacon replaces — planning tools, board reporting, executive dashboards and the spreadsheet labour between them. Revenue-intelligence vendors charge $7–10k per user per year and price out everyone below enterprise. Beacon is one flat subscription for the whole company, sized to your revenue. See what Beacon replaces, or put your own figures in.

Run it on your own numbers →

An honest ceiling

Beacon is built for recurring-revenue companies up to about $100M ARR. Past that — or if your revenue isn't recurring — a warehouse-based stack will serve you better, and we'll say so at sign-up rather than sell you the wrong thing.

Talk it through
Questions

The fine print, out loud.

How do you know my ARR?

You connect your billing system, and Beacon measures your recurring revenue from it — the same figure it reports to you on every screen. At sign-up you declare it once; the measured figure takes over as soon as billing connects. Your price is set by the number you can see, with its full trace.

What happens as we grow?

Your price follows the same curve you see on this page. It's checked quarterly against the measured figure, announced before it changes, and applies from your next monthly cycle — or at renewal on annual. A million dollars of new ARR moves the price by a small step, and the steps get smaller as you scale. It works the same downward: shrink, and your price follows. That's deliberate — Beacon earns more only after you've grown. If you think the measurement is wrong, challenge it, and the change pauses while it's resolved from the record.

Do you charge per seat?

No. Seats are included, for everyone. Beacon is built to be read by people who never log in — in dashboards, in their own tools, in email. Charging per seat would punish exactly the behaviour the product exists to create.

Do my investors, board or advisors pay?

Never. External readers are free forever and never counted — invite as many as you like. They see what you've shared, in their own view, and nothing else.

Why is there only one paid plan?

Because Beacon works best whole. The modules read each other — forecasting leans on retention, pricing leans on both — and slicing the system into tiers would sell you a worse product. Growth is everything Beacon makes, and the only thing that moves your price is your own growth.

What exactly is a module?

A ready-made part of the system that does one job — sales forecasting, pricing & monetization, capital & funding. Growth includes every module, current and future. There's nothing to pick, unlock or upgrade — and when a new module ships, it's yours the same day, at the same price.

Can you build something custom for us?

No — and that's deliberate. Beacon is one standard product: the same data model, the same pages, the same definitions for every customer. That's what makes it dependable, fast to set up, and this affordable. If you need a page or module Beacon doesn't have yet, you can sponsor it: we build it into the standard product, you get it first, and every customer gets it after you. Hands-on onboarding buys help and guidance — never a fork.

What's the catch with Free?

Free is genuinely free, at any company size, forever — full revenue and retention analytics, unlimited history, unlimited readers. The deal is stated plainly in one consent step at sign-up: free workspaces contribute anonymised, aggregated data to the community benchmarks. That contribution is what Free runs on, so if you'd rather not share, Beacon isn't free for you.

What leaves your workspace is aggregate statistics, never your records — your company, your customers and your prices are never identifiable to anyone.

How do benchmarks work — and what exactly do you share?

Contributing companies see the benchmarks; nobody else does. On Free, contributing is part of the deal. On Growth it's your choice: contribute and you get the full benchmark intelligence; keep your data out and the benchmarks stay off — the numbers are only worth reading because every company in them gave something in.

What actually leaves your workspace: pre-aggregated statistics only, never raw records. A benchmark is published only once enough companies are in that pool, so a thin group simply has no benchmark rather than a misleading one. Your company's identity, your customers and your prices are never visible to anyone, and your data stays in your region. You see exactly what's shared before you agree to it, on one plain-language screen.

The benchmark surfaces themselves ship in a later wave. Contribution starts from day one on purpose — the numbers are only worth reading once there's a real corpus behind them.

How does the 14-day trial work?

Full Growth capability for 14 days, no card required, one trial per company domain. When it ends, nothing is lost — your workspace continues on Free with your data and history intact, and you can upgrade whenever the moment is right.

Is there a setup fee or implementation project?

No setup fee, ever. Setup is a guided conversation, not a project — Beacon configures itself around your answers, and connecting billing is the only technical step. If you'd rather have a person walk your team through it end to end, hands-on onboarding is available as a one-off, quoted up front.

What does the annual discount look like?

Pay a year up front and the price is 15% lower than the monthly rate at your size. Price changes on annual plans apply at renewal, not mid-term.

Can I cancel?

Yes — self-serve, from your billing settings, no call and no form. Monthly plans stop at the end of the paid cycle.

We're over $100M ARR, or our revenue isn't recurring.
